Ronald Sensor

Ronald W. Sensor (62) passed away on February 3rd, 2024. He was a lifelong resident of South Elgin. Ron is the beloved husband of the late Peggy Sensor; loving father of Ronald A. (Samatha) and Eric (Alyse); cherished grandfather of Lila, Dominic, Ronald R. “Remy,” J.T., and Everett; proud son of Ronald L. and the late Marjorie; dear brother of Jeff (the late Laura), Kevin (Susan), and the late Daniel; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

He will also be missed by his faithful companion “Sadie.”

Ron loved the outdoors. He shared his passion with his two sons and grandchildren. He loved spending time fishing, camping, hunting, and attending air shows and steam shows. He enjoyed hiking with his grandkids and taking them to his camper in Wisconsin during the summer. For over 40 years he was a valued employee of Hoffer Plastics in South Elgin, most recently serving as a Molding Foreman.

Visitation for Ronald W. Sensor will be held Sunday, February 11th, 2024 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home, 95 S. Gilbert Rd. (at State St.) South Elgin. Funeral will be held Monday, February 12th at 11:00 a.m. Interment at South Elgin Cemetery.
