Ronald Rodewald

October 3, 1937 — September 14, 2025

Ronald Henry Rodewald died September 14, 2025, at the age of 87. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Helen Rodewald, his brother Kenny, and his wife Marilyn.

Ron graduated from Glenbard High School, attended Iowa State University for dairy technology and served in the Air National Guard. He worked at the Rodewald Farms Dairy - at one time the largest employer in Roselle - and over 50 years ago evolved that business into Rodewald Properties, a Roselle mainstay that he never retired from.

Ron met the love of his life, Marilyn, at the Rollarena in Wheaton, then built an amazing life together for 62 years. They are survived by their children Randy (Christine), Reed, and Louise (Todd) as well as their cherished grandchildren.

Ron helped found the Bartlett Boy Scout Troop 26 where he served as Scoutmaster for many years. He was also a master woodworker and a car enthusiast. Ron's curiosity, hard work and infectious good nature are sorely missed.
