Ronald Markel

Ronald P. Markel 69, of Pingree Grove, passed away January 21, 2020. Born September 22, 1950 in Chicago. Ron loved baseball and was an avid fan of the Cubs. He enjoyed being a coach and had a positive impact on many kids leaving them with lifelong skills. He will be missed by his family and friends. Beloved husband of Donna (nee Lewandowski); loving dad of Chris (Gina) and Lindsey (Mike) Campobasso; cherished grandpa of Chace, Cameron, Griffin and Chloe; dear son of the late James Markel and Frank and Johanna (nee Lenza) Comitz; brother James (Elaine) and Karen (Kevin) Rhea and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation 2:00p.m. until time of celebration 5:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett.
