Ronald Lino, Sr, 70, of Streamwood; Born April 10, 1939 in Chicago, IL; Died August 25, 2009 at his home; beloved husband of Lois nee Carter and the late Marilyn nee Foster; loving father of Ronald, Jr, Terri (Guy) Gablin, Daryl and the late Ken; step-father of David (Molly) Arrigo and Anita (Ron) Romrell; cherished grandfather of Darren (Kera), David (Peggy), Jason, Nick, Joe, Matt, Jenni, Mick and Megan; step-grandfather of Christopher, Daniel, Jonathan, Evan, Logan, Madisan, Ammon, Helaman and Emma; special great-grandfather of Kayden and Gianna; brother of the late Mary Barbara; dear brother-in-law of Richard (Sandy) Foster and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; master of Kelli.
Ron was a Marine veteran of “D” Company, member of Automotive Transportation Supervisors Assn, Municipal Fleet Managers Assn and the Old Cronies Society. He also served as a Deacon at St. John the Evangelist Church for 25 years.
Visitation Friday 3:00-9:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral services Saturday 9:15 AM to St. John The Evangelist Church. Mass 10:00 AM. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
