Ronald Hovorka

Ronald Hovorka, 81, of Downers Grove, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022. An Army Veteran, Ron was an exceptionally avid fisherman who enjoyed golf, loved his corny jokes, and was affectionately known as "turtle". Beloved husband of Judy Marie (nee Cortino); loving father of Tammy Hovorka, Cindy Hovorka, and Lynn (Spiro) Karounos; proud grandfather of Ginger Callarman, Maya and Gianna Hovorka, Summer Callarman, and Aramis and Soleil Karounos; dear brother of Thomas (the late Antoinette), Margie (Tim) Mellin, and Laurie (Michael) Mohus; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
