Ronald Edelmann

Ronald Edelmann, 79, of Elgin and formerly of Addison and Bloomingdale, husband of the late Enid, nee Wagner; dad of Heidi (Brian) McGuire and the late Ronnie, Jr ; papa of Keira, Carly, JP and Kevin and son of the late Sylvester and Esther. Ron's entire woriking career was spent at one company, Xerox, where he retired after 40 years of dedicated service. In his spare time he formed a band, the Trade Winds, which played all over the Chicagoland area for over 25 years. He also was an avid Bears and Sox fan. He played in an adult softball league and served as an Elgin Township Republican Precinct Committeeman for 12 years. Visitation Saturday, August 5th, 9:00 am - 11:00am at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett, Il. Interment Queen Heaven Cemetery in Hillside. In lieu of flowers donations to the Anderson Animal Shelter would be appreciated.
