Services for Roger Scarpelli, Sr. of Hanover Park will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Following the services, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 30 from 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born January 25, 1937 in Chicago, Roger died Tuesday, November 27, 2012.
He is the beloved husband of Christine; loving father of Roger Jr. (Janice), Steven (Guillermina), Vita Olmsted and Shannon (David) Szymanski; cherished grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 5; son of Alfred and Elizabeth; dear brother of Glorian Russell, Marion (Carl) Hugo, Florence (Michael) Schlitt, the late Alfred, Anthony, James and Eleanor Miller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated.
