Roger Mckeague

Roger James McKeague, Sr, 86, of Bartlett, husband of the late Mary, whom he was married to for 58 years; father of Roger Jr. (Carol Ann), Kevin and Arthur (Linda); grandfather of Arthur Jr., Kate, Brian, Jack and Timothy; brother of the late John (Camilla); son of the late John and Alice, nee Rodgers. Roger was an architect for 35+ years for the Chicago Board of Education and the city of Chicago. He was definitely a city person, cheering on the White Sox, listening to the big bands by the lake. In retirement he loved to travel. Most of all he was most proud of being a grandparent - rarely missing any of the grandchildren's games or concerts. Visitation will be Friday 3:00 - 9:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Saturday 9:15 am to St. Mary Church, 400 Fulton St. Elgin. Mass 10:00 am. Entombment St. Mary Cemetery in Evergreen Park.
