Visitation for Rodrigo E. Gonzalez of Streamwood, formerly of Des Plaines will be held Saturday February 22, 2014 3:00p.m. until time of service 8:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Cremation took place at the Countryside Crematory.

Born November 11, 1952 in Colombia, he died Monday February 17, 2014.

Rodrigo worked for the Chicago Transit Authority for 28 years as a conductor on the "Blue Line".

He is the beloved husband of Maria Rosalba nee Suarez; loving father of Richard (Zemira) and Vanessa (Ben); proud grandfather of Gino and Donny; cherished son of Alma Rosa and the late Otoniel Gonzalez; dear brother of Carlos, Alma Rosa, Otoniel and the late Marilyn; many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
