Roberto Munoz-Manrique

d. January 25, 2026

Roberto Muñoz, born November 22, 1941, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning after a long and courageous battle with declining health. Though his body grew tired, his spirit never did. He leaves behind a family forever changed by his love and a legacy that will never fade.

For more than 56 years, Roberto shared his life with the love of his life, Maria Elena Muñoz. Their marriage was not just a union, but a lifetime of devotion, sacrifice, laughter, and unwavering commitment to one another and to their family. When Maria Elena passed, a piece of Roberto’s heart went with her—but his love for her never wavered. Now, they are together again.

Roberto lived life in motion. He was happiest when he was busy, surrounded by noise, conversation, and the people he loved. Soccer was his passion, his joy, and often his escape. Watching a match, debating plays, or sharing the game with family and friends brought him peace and happiness. Through sports, he connected, taught, laughed, and created memories that will live on.

More than anything, Roberto loved his family. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome, protected, and deeply loved. His presence was comforting. His voice, his advice, his laughter—those are the things that will be missed the most. He gave endlessly of himself, asking for little in return.

As a father, Roberto was a pillar of strength. He showed his children what it meant to work hard, to stay loyal, to love deeply, and to always put family first. His lessons were not always spoken—but they were lived every day. His children carry him with them in who they are and in how they love.

Roberto is survived by his children, Guillermo Muñoz, Veronica Muñoz, Arturo Muñoz, and Roberto Muñoz Jr., along with extended family and countless friends whose lives were forever touched by his kindness. He is now reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Maria Elena Muñoz, where their love continues beyond this life.

Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the years we were given, the love we received, and the memories that will never leave us. Roberto Muñoz will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
