Robert Wrobel

Robert John Wrobel ,40, formerly of Wheeling passed away Thursday, June 10 in his Elgin home, following a two year battle with kidney disease. He is survived by his wife Michelle (Brouillette); two children: Colin and Katelynn; mother Shirley; brother, Ryan; and eight nieces and nephews: Gavin, Madelyn, Marion, Michael, Jack, Max, Kyle and Ryanna.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Joseph Wrobel.

Robert worked for Walgreens for 9 years. He was a whiz on the computer. Most of all, he loved family vacations to the Wisconsin Dells.

Visitation will be Monday June 14 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (prayer service at 8 p.m.)at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.

Burial of his cremains will be private at Lakewood Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers a trust fund has been set up for his children: The Colin & Katelynn Wrobel Memorial Fund at Chase Bank 500 N. Shady Oaks Dr. Elgin, Il. 60120.
