Robert Westrope

Robert “Bob” Westrope, 83, of Bartlett, died Wednesday, January 4, 2023. Born August 29, 1939 in Pekin, Illinois. Bob was a veteran of the US Navy. He loved his family, dogs and cats. He will be missed. Beloved father of Kristine Zerkel, Shannon (Nicholas) Woods and Darren Westrope; loving papa of Angel Zerkel, Kailey (Jonathan) Riley; cherished great papa of Kayden, Remington and Elliot; dear son of the late Merle Westrope and Lorraine Allen-Baker and kind brother of Gerald Baker, Jan Flarity, Lori Jones and the late Richard, Kevin and Douglas Baker. Memorial visitation 11:00 am until time of memorial service 1:00pm Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 95 S Gilbert St (at State St), South Elgin. Inurnment to follow at Bluff City Cemetery. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory.
