Robert F. Walkowiak, 82, of Bartlett, husband for 59 years of Marilyn, nee Noth; dad of Joe (Heather), Chris (Chad) and Rob; grandpa of Joshua, Adam and CJ; great grandpa of Myla and JJ; brother of Gloria (Carl), Jackie, Kathy (Ralph), Connie (late Russell), Late Geri (late Frank), late Theresa (Joe), late Shirley (late John), late Rose (late Don) and the late Jimmy; uncle of many nieces and nephews and son of the late Joseph and the late Agatha. Bob was a quiet man who enjoyed being at home . He was very proud of serving his country, as a US Marine. A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Thursday,June 29th, from 10:00 am until a time to share stories beginning at 12:30 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett, Il. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
