Visitation for Robert W. Twohey of South Elgin will be held Tuesday, 3:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S. Gilbert St. (at State St.) South Elgin, Funeral Wednesday 10:15a.m. to St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Mass 11:00a.m. Following mass, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
Bob is the beloved husband of Norrine nee Sullivan; loving father of Robert E. (Jennifer) Twohey and Colleen M. (Michael) Schumacher; dear grandfather of Mavis; caring son of the late William J. and Mary A. (nee: Gillespie) Twohey; fond brother of Jean M. (the late Gerald) Montwicki;many loving nieces and nephews who will miss him for his quirky humor and encyclopedia-like knowledge of music.
Robert was a 20+ year employee of Rich's Food (Formerly J.W. Allen).
