Robert “Bob” H. Garmoe Sr, 88, of Bartlett, formerly of Huntley and of Franklin Park for nearly 50 years. Beloved husband of the late Constance; loving dad of Jeannine (Mark) Mueller, David (Nancy), Dorothy (the late Mark) Nimmer, Robert Jr and William (Cynthia); cherished grandpa of 11 and great-grandpa of 8; dear son of the late Edward and Frances (nee Palmer) and kind brother of the late Edward (Mary). A veteran of the U.S. Marines having served during the Korean Conflict. He built a successful business that employed a generation of family and friends. Bob enjoyed gardening, biking and volunteering wherever he could, but his true passions were his faith and his family. Memorial Visitation 9:30a.m. until time of Memorial Mass 10:30a.m. Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Sacred Heart Chapel at Clare Oaks, 825 Carillon Dr, Bartlett. Donation to science was handled in accordance to Bob’s wishes. Arrangements by Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, Bartlett.
