Robert Leo "Sibby" Sibigtroth of Streamwood for 47yrs, born January 15, 1932 in Chicago, died Saturday September 20, 2008.
Robert is a United States Marines Veteran of the Korean War, member of the Loyal Order of Moose Streamwood Lodge 2055 and worked for Amoco Oil in Naperville as a Laboratory Technician for over 20 years. He enjoyed fishing and especially bowling.
Robert is the beloved husband of Donna nee Sorrentino for 50 years, loving father of Kathy (Richard) McCole of Crystal Lake, Gregg (Laurie Vitullo) of Crystal Lake and Michael (Kathleen) of Lake Zurich. Proud grandfather of Matthew, Andrew and Sam McCole, Matthew, Manuel, Rosie, Genna Mae Sibigtroth and one on the way; dear brother of the late Barbara Goff; many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday 3:00p.m. until time of services 8:30p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Following Services, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. Donations made to American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73128-1717 would be appreciated.
