Robert Phillips

Robert "Bob" M. Phillips, 75, of Bartlett since 1974, husband of Sheila, nee Creighton; dad of Christian (Diane) Phillips, Stephanie (Mike) Scott and Sarah (Nick) Gonzalez; grandpa of Lily Scott and Jason Phillips; brother of Marianne (late Al) Nelson and the late Matt Bernert; uncle, brother in law and friend of many; son of the late Robert F. and Madeline, nee Klug; previous husband of his first wife Sally Phillips and will be missed by his dog Abby.  Bob lived a full life.  He enjoyed his work at Illinois Bell (1970-1994) where he retired as a manager. He enjoyed time shooting at the Saint Charles Shooting Club (SCSC).  He was like a big kid, collecting his "toys" like remote control cars and airplanes and a 50th anniversary Corvette. He also played a lot of golf at Bartlett Hills, was in a dart league and enjoyed hunting pheasant and ducks in his younger years.  He always had a dog around, sometimes a hunting dog and most recently a rescued mutt/mix.  His pool and hot tub parties were infamous, some lasting days.  Visitation Monday, February 12th, 10:00 am until the time of his service 2:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd.
