Robert T. Nebgen, age 79, of Streamwood , formerly of Des Plaines; born 2/3/1931 in Belleville, Il. and died 12/10/2010; beloved husband for 51 years of Gail A. (nee: Stratton); loving father of Karen(Jeff) Goodell, Kris(Dan) Blouin, Carol(Tim) George, Mary(Mario) Delafeld, Diane Nebgen and Kate(Shawn) Hopkins; cherished grandfather of Keegan, Katy and Kelsea Goodell, Megan and Michael Blouin, Nicole(Michael) Ackley, Robert (fiancée Brittney), Kristan and Makenna Delafeld, Garrett and Trent Hopkins; and great grandfather of Cameron and Cole Ackley; dear son of the late Roland and Cecelia Nebgen; brother of Rosemary(the late Melvin) Roth, Joseph(Virginia) Nebgen, and the late Roland, George, William; Bob taught instrumental music in district 64, Park Ridge, retiring in 1990. Visitation Tuesday 3:00-9:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Wednesday 9:45 AM to St. John the Evangelist Church. Mass 10:30 AM. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
