Prayers for Robert J. Mitera, of Hanover Park since 1970 will begin Friday June 8, 2012 9:15a.m. at the Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg to Willowcreek Church. Funeral service 10:00a.m. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday June 7, 2012 3:00 - 9:00p.m.
Born May 21, 1942 in Chicago, Robert died June 5, 2012.
He is a proud veteran of the US Navy, Robert served during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Robert is the beloved husband of Carolyn nee Cottin; loving father of Robert (Lorrie) or Port Barrington and Michael (Megan) of Lockport; cherished grandfather of Lauren and Mitchell; dear brother of Dan of Orland Park, Jerry of Wheaton and Sharon of Schaumburg.
