Robert Marlin

Robert “Bob” A. Marlin, age 63, of Bartlett, Il. , formerly of Philadelphia, died July 28, at Hines VA hospital. Bob was born in Philadelphia on June 28, 1946. He was preceded in death by his late wife Cindy nee Christie and his parents the late Herman and Edna nee Wilson. Bob was the dear brother of June ( Don ) Rutherford of New Mexico. Loving uncle of Laureen ( George ) Stragand, Jeffrey ( Julie ) and Daniel ( Jayne ). Cherished great uncle of Max, Victoria, Samantha, Robert Alan, Alexandra, Sarah and Joseph. He was a true friend to many friends from coast to coast, especially Tim Osberg from Bartlett. Bob was an avid golfer and supported all Philadelphia teams even after moving away. Bob served his country in the Air Force while in Vietnam. A memorial service will be held Thursday August 6, at 7:00 p.m. at the Bartlett Baptist church.
