Robert Peters was born October 29, 1943 in Chicago and passed January 24, 2022. He was a United States Army Veteran from 1961-1967. Bob was known for his lack of patience, not holding back his opinion, and a knack for telling it like it is. He was an avid reader of all things, a life-long White Sox fan who truly enjoyed their World Series title in 2005. He also enjoyed listening to his CD’s, horse racing, watching old horror movies, gardening, and cooking on the grill.

Marcia Peters was born October 26, 1939 in Chicago and passed February 18, 2022. She loved spending time with her family and friends. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to her, such as a quite evening watching an old John Wayne movie and eating popcorn or playing Yahtzee with her children and grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted mother and loved her role as nana. All whom loved her dearly will never forget her generous spirit and heart of gold.

Bob and Marcia were married in 1970, and enjoyed 51 beautiful years of marriage. They lived in Chicago together for 40 years. In 2012 they moved to Henderson, Nevada where they met new friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Weekly outings to the casino were one of their favorite things to do together as well as challenging each other on crossword puzzles. They loved having family and friends come to visit. They will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Survivors include children Donna (Dennis) Foley, Danielle (George) Kolodziej, and Denise (Ariel) Diaz; grandchildren Kelly Foley, Steven, Gabby and Emma Kolodziej, Nick (Lilly), Jennifer, Olivia and Derrick Diaz, and great-grandchildren Zaylee and Noah
