Robert Lopez

Robert John Lopez, 59 of Elgin for 36 years, died Friday, June 9, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born September 3, 1957 in Omaha. Robert enjoyed the outdoors, all Chicago sports and played the bass guitar but his true passion was his family. Beloved husband and high school sweetheart of Patricia (nee Krawczyk); loving dad of Michael and Matthew; cherished son of Maria (nee Sanchez) and the late Juan; caring brother of Olga (Guillermo) Hernandez, John (Debbie), Fred (Noreen), Rudy (Evangelina), Rosa (late Raul) Orive, Joe, Martha and honorary son Jose “Mac” (Amanda) Jimenez. Visitation Wednesday, June 14, 2017 3:00p.m. - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett.
