Robert Aloysius Long of Albuquerque, NM formerly of Schaumburg; beloved husband of the late Joyce (nee Schack); loving father of Debi Mills, Robert J. Long and Doreen A. Klotka; cherished grandfather of Katherine J. Hoggay-Hogan, Nicole Hatton, Robert J. Long, Jr., Jenessa Long and Jason Hatton; proud great grandfather of Brolin, Austin, Madison and Sophia; dear brother of James (Lori) Dziewiatkowski and the late Terry Dziewiatkowski.

The Angels wrapped their wings around my dad to bring him home to the Lord. Korean War Veteran, Robert Aloysius Long died on All Saints Day, November 1st. His strong faith, love for his country and marrying his high school sweetheart Joyce M. Schack in November of 1954 made him the very special man he was today. Today my parents rejoin in spirit. I salute you dad for your courage, love, strength, for the husband you were to mom, the father you were for us, the grandfather to the grandchildren and great grandchildren. You taught us how to stay strong, have faith and be the best we could be. We are comforted today knowing heaven awaits you. I love you dad, you were my rock, my best friend and mentor. Your love and stories will continue to be shared forever more. I salute you this one last time and until we meet again. Your famous words, love forever and a day. With all of my heart. Debi
