Robert Isaacson

Robert Lee Isaacson, “Bob”, age 59, passed away Wednesday, September 9th 2015 with his family by his side.
Bob was born December 24th, 1955 to Lloyd and Erika Isaacson in Chicago, IL.

After automotive school Bob began his career as a mechanic. In 2006 when the dealership he was working for closed, Bob began his own business, “Bob’s Handyman Service.” Remodeling and repairing houses is what Bob truly loved to do. Bob and his wife Cathy moved to Geneva in 1989 to raise their family and have been there ever since. Bob really enjoyed being able to work in the community he had been a part of for so long. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren and pets. Bob also loved following his favorite Chicago sports teams.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Cathy nee Angiulo; His son Dan(Ashley) Isaacson, His daughter Candy(Mark) Byars, His son Mike(Chloe) Isaacson, His daughter Amy(Jim) Elsner; His Grandchildren Scott and Josh Byars, Hadley Isaacson, Emmitt Isaacson; His mother Erika Isaacson, his mother-in-law Michelina “Lee” Angiulo, his father-in-law William “Bill” Mostberger; His numerous nieces and nephews; His pets Pebbles, Freckles and Polly.

Bob was preceeded in death by his father Lloyd, his brother Terry, his sister Bonnie; His father-in-law Rudy Angiulo; His brother-in-law Frank Angiulo; His pets Doonie, Buddy, and Pepper.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 10:30am at Malone Funeral Home, 324 East State St. (Route 38), Geneva, IL 60134.

Cremation will be private.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 14 from 3-8pm at Malone Funeral Home.
