Robert Gaba

Robert "Bob" John Gaba, 46, of Streamwood died June 27, 2015. Bob was the beloved father of Robert John Louis Gaba; cherished son of Bonnie Lee Jahnke; loving brother of Jeremy J. (Trisha) Jahnke; proud uncle of Charlotte and Ellie. He was preceded in death by his grand dad John L. Gaba and grand mom Lorraine G. Gaba.
Bob was a retired Naperville Firefighter and Paramedic. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf as well as snowmobiling and racing Oval Stock-Cars. Bob was also a diehard Cubs fan. He and Robert enjoyed their last Cubs' game together last Wednesday, June 24th, at Wrigley Field. There was no other place on earth more special to him than Wrigley Field.

Visitation for Robert Thursday, July 2, 3:00p.m. - 9:00p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. A Fire Department walk-through begins promptly at 7:00p.m. with a service to immediately follow. Following services cremation will take place privately at Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to Illinois Fire Safety Alliance - Camp "I Am Me" 426 W. Northwest Highway, Mount Prospect, IL 60056 or donations to the family would be appreciated.
