Robert Cook

Robert A. Cook, 56, of Streamwood, formerly of Brookfield, passed away Sunday, August 30. A beloved husband and father, Robert brought his charisma and contagious sense of humor everywhere he went. He valued hard work in all of his endeavors, and never took less than perfection in his work. An avid sports lover and craftsman, he frequently was working on various wood projects while watching Chicago sports. He brought his smile any time he spent time with his family and friends, and always strived to be the life of the party. Beloved husband of Linda(nee Anderson); loving father of Ryan, Sam, Erik, and Corey; dear brother of Edward(Sandra), Judy(George) Paps, the late Dale(Cherryl), and the late Tim(Debbie); fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, September 3 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd.(at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett. Funeral Friday 10:15am to St. John the Evangelist Church. Mass 11:00am. Following services cremation private at Countryside Crematory. In observance of the CDC guidelines, there will be a maximum of 50 people allowed in the building and masks must be worn.
