Robert Brueske

Robert “Bob” J. Brueske formerly of Schaumburg; beloved husband of Fayetta “Fay” (nee Suehl) loving father of Julie, Tom (Lynn), Kathy (Scott) MacDonald and Daniel (Shari); cherished grandfather of Tiffany, Sean; dear brother of Gloria (Ron) Lindberg, and the late Roscoe (late Pat), the late Elizabeth “Betty” (late Robert) Gallager; son of the late Lester and Florence. He was a Lt. commander in the U.S. Navy, 1943 Winona graduate, received his degree in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota where he was also a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity, retired in 1986 from the Milwaukee Railroad after 38 years of dedicated service, a lifetime member of A.S.C.E. (American Society of Civil Engineering) , was also an active and honorary member of A.R.E.M.A. American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association, he was also happily married for 59 years, in his spare time he enjoyed going to plays and would fish anytime anywhere.

Visitation Friday, August 29th 9:30 a.m. until the time Mass 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel at Clare Oaks, 825 Carillon Drive, Bartlett. Burial St. Michael the Archangel.
