Robert Bilyk

Robert E. Bilyk, 87, of Bartlett formerly of St. Louis, MO, passed away peacefully January 1, 2015 surrounded by his family. Bob was a retired accountant with the US Postal Service finishing his career in the Chicago Regional Office. He served the US Navy and was honorably discharged in 1946. An active member of the Wayne Township Senior Center, he loved golf and bowling and spending time with his family reveling in the most recent accomplishments of his children and grandchildren. He lived his life by example. Loving father of Gary(Patricia), Neal(Sandra), Thomas(Nancy), Robert C.(Andrea), and Joanne(Tim) Glancy; dear brother of Jerry(Darlene) and brother in law of Dorothy Berry; proud grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Bob will be greeted in heaven by his beloved wife of 57 years Mary "Becky"(nee Bick), brother Bill and sister in law Josephine, brother in law Don, daughter in law Sandra, and grandson Jason.
