Robert Bert

Robert Paul Bert, 84, died June 20, 2024. Robert was the beloved husband of Mary Bert (nee Callahan); loving father of Jeff (Cindy) Debbie (the late Frederick) Smith, Dr. Michael (Christopher) Bert, and Steve (Linda); proud grandfather of Kyle, William (Ashlee), Brandon Bert, Robert (Kennedy) Smith, Julia (Adam) Worazek, Anthony Bauer and Jennifer (Angel) Mroz-Gonzalez; cherished great grandfather of Ellie, William, Charlotte, Patrick, Sterling, Harper and Theo; dear brother of Susan Kennedy, and Cathy Bert.

Robert was an Army veteran. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and doing home repairs. Robert also liked horses and going to the casino.

Visitation Tuesday June 25, 3:00pm - 7:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood. Funeral Wednesday 10:15am to St. Ansgar Church Mass 11:00am. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org
