Robert E. Ball of Streamwood, 79, died June 17, 2017. Robert was the beloved husband of Donna(nee Nelson), Loving father of Glenn, Larry(Cindy). Proud grandfather of Eric and Michael. Fond brother of Rose (Jack) Petersen, (the late Richard) Cathy , Brother-in law of Judy (Jim) Kurak, David (Cathie) Nelson. Uncle of many nieces and nephews His interests were camping, fishing, collecting candy containers and attending the Candy Container Collectors of America Convention, visiting national parks, cruises, photography, cribbage, country music, playing cards with friends and Chicken and Dumplings. Served in the Navy 4 years (1957-1961 ), USS Morton DD948 destroyer and the USS Helena Battle ship.
