Rita Ladd

Rita D. Ladd (nee: DeGroodt), 87 of Bartlett, She was the loving mother of Linda(Christopher) DeHut, Robert A. (Joy), David (Dorrie) and Susan (Ross) Parke; Dear grandmother of Charles (Carol) Berndt, Scott (Shannon) Berndt, Alison (Aaron) Marona, Kaitlyn Ladd, Robert Ladd, Ian Parke and Sean Parke; and great grandmother of Rebecca, William, Anderson and Audrey Berndt; fond sister of Ruth Stadter, Alfons and Robert DeGroodt; she was the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews; and was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents Alfons and Erna, and siblings Leona Stashak, William, Irene Zelnis, Erna Westway and Marge Mosney.
Rita had 21 years of dedicated service to the U-46 school district as a baker in food services. She also volunteered many award winning hours with the Hanover Township Senior Center.
Visitation Sunday 2:00-8:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Funeral Monday 9:15a.m. going to St. Peter Damian Church, Mass 10:00a.m. Interment Bartlett Cemetery.
