Rita Jezl (nee McCartan), 85, of St. Charles; beloved wife of the late James Sr; loving mom of Barbara Jezl, Jean (Ray) Emplit, James Jr., Mary (Joe) Cornett, Anne Schaefer and John Jezl; cherished grandma of Eric Emplit, Susan (A.J.) Richardson, Sara, Joseph Cornett, Dylan, Kathleen Schaefer, Erin and Elissa Jezl; dear great grandma of Gabriel Reardon and kind sister of Mary “Tim” (late John) Sheedy. Family and her faith were a large part of Rita’s life. Visitation 3:00p.m. to 8:00p.m., Friday, June 30, 2017 at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd) Bartlett. Funeral Saturday 9:15 a.m. to Resurrection Church, Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church would be appreciated.
