Ricky Gene Ford, 49, of South Elgin died Thursday, July 9, 2009 at St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin.
Born August 24, 1959 in Chicago, he was the son of Bobby and Margie (nee Martin). An avid Cubs and Blackhawks fan. He drove his truck “Hamerdown” for 25 years.
Survivors include wife Kathy, nee Johnson; parents; sister Kimberly (Tim) Watkins; nieces Jaimie and Cassie; great nephew Tatum; many close friends especially John Dolan and special pet Lily.
A memorial visitation will be Sunday from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service 12 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home, 95 S. Gilbert St, South Elgin. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory.
