Richard “Rick” Paul Simonson, 67, of Bartlett passed away Friday, December 6, 2024, in Elk Grove Village. Born July 1, 1957, in St. Paul, Minnesota. Rick was a member of the Bartlett Lions Club for many years where he was a recipient of the Melvin Jones Award. He also enjoyed golfing and fishing. He will be missed. Beloved son of the late Glenn and Bette (nee Booher) Simonson; loving brother of Linda (Steve) Disch and Steven (Marcia) Simonson; cherished uncle of Carrie (Dave), Christopher (Ronda), Adam, Dan (Amanda), Michael (Courtney) and fond great uncle of Aubrey, Aiden, Parker, Riley and Sawyer. Cremation is private at the Countryside Funeral Home and crematory. Celebration of life to be scheduled at a later date.
