Richard Schark of Bartlett formerly of Lombard; beloved husband of Dolores (nee Kral); loving father of Mark (Kathy), Karen (Kevin) Eberhardt, Stephen Liechti, Col. Elizabeth (Stephen) Johnson, Fred (Chris) Liechti, Nancy (Kurt) McDonal and Ron (Danae) Liechti; proud grandfather of Connor, Carter, Dan, Jenny, Jeff, Brigette, Grant, Claire, Lincoln and Kaila.
A proud veteran of the US Navy serving from 1945-1953 receiving various medals. He worked for CNA Insurance for 35 years.
Visitation Friday 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd, (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Burial Bartlett Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to Disabled American Veterans, Memorial Program P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301 would be appreciated.
