Richard Pollowy

Richard “Dick” F. Pollowy, 76, of Schaumburg, died Friday, August 4, 2017. Born January 6, 1941 in Chicago. Dick’s faith was important to him having been a member of St. Marcelline Church since 1969. He enjoyed woodworking, music and joined many choirs throughout his life, but his biggest passion was always his family. Beloved husband of Camille (nee Burkhardt); loving dad of Margaret (Andrew) Adrian and Tim (Kim); cherished grandpa of Alex (fiancé Laura), David and Cassandra; dear son of the late Francis and Evelyn (nee Szlapka); kind brother of Christine (Steve) Kokoruz and uncle of Keith, Karen and Kurt. Visitation 3:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Monday, August 7, 2017 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 S Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd), Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Tuesday 9:15a.m. to St. Marcelline Church, Mass 10:00a.m. Interment St Michael the Archangel.
