Richard Piwowarski

Richard E. Piwowarski, 86, of Chicago, IL passed away on April 7, 2023. Richard is the beloved brother to Christine Wood, Peter Adamopoulos, and Georgia (Salvatore "Sam") Lamonica; loving godfather to Robert Johnson and Anthony "Tony" Adamopoulos; long-time good friend of Gloria Swart; and cherished cousin and uncle to many. Richard was preceded in death by his wife Lillian (nee Mueller) Piwowarski. A visitation will held on Sunday, April 16, 2023 from 2-7 pm at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. Streamwood, IL 60107. A prayer service will be held on Monday at 10:00 am at the funeral home before we process to Maryhill Cemetery for the interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to St. Judes.
