Richard Harold Murphy, 82, of Bartlett, IL passed away on August 12, 2024. Born on October 21, 1941 to his parents Harold Frank and Pearl Minnie Murphy in Chicago, IL. Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years Lin; loving father of Dawn (Matthew) Brown, Patricia Jumper and Richard Murphy; cherished grandfather of Renee, Kelsey, Ashley, Pagni, Alex, Timothy and Caleb; many beloved great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; dear brother of Cheryl Murphy Wells and the late Marilyn Orton.

Richard spent a lot of his time gardening and loved to travel. But he truly loved spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 S. Bartlett Rd. Bartlett, IL 60103. A funeral service will be held Friday, August 16, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. A private cremation will take place after.
