Richard A. Meyer, 63, of Roselle, died Sunday, April 21, 2013. Born May 1, 1949 in Chicago. He was the son of Lawrence J. and Bernice (nee Welch). Richard was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the Air Force.
Survivors include wife Karen (nee Johnson; children Richard T. Sr (Anne) and Laura A. (Brant) Boyer.
Grandchildren Katherine, Megan, Richard Jr, Aidan, Ella, Matthew, Lucy, Lucas, Emily and Lily
Brother Lawrence and sisters Gail Jacques, Jo Ellyn Liebhaber and Kathleen Casavant.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Renee Deckert.
Visitation Wednesday, April 24, 2013 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 S Roselle Rd (1/2 mile south of Irving Park), Roselle. Funeral Thursday 10:30 to St. Walter Church, Mass 11:00a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Richard’s name may be made to Illinois Veterans Home-Manteno, 1 Veterans Dr, Manteno, IL 60950.
