Richard Martini

Richard G. Martini, 75, of Streamwood died March 6, 2017. Richard was the beloved husband of Donna L. Martini (nee Grimmett); loving father of R. Scott (Kris), Wendy (Bob) Heard, Dean, Cindy (Mike) Soltis, and Shawn Martini; dear stepfather of Carrie (Robert) Ahlsen and Audrey Owens; proud grandfather of 14 and step grandfather of 14; fond great grandfather of 1 and step great grandfather of 4; cherished brother of Mary (the late Delbert) Blakely and the late Joseph Martini; many loving nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his dogs Happy, Taffy and Hawkeye, and his bird the late Marty.

Richard was a very proud Marine veteran. He loved model trains and cowboys, especially John Wayne.

Visitation Friday, March 10, 3:00p.m. - 9:00p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Lying in state Saturday 9:00a.m. until time of service 10:00a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church 780 Bartlett Road, Streamwood. Interment Memory Gardens.
