Richard Kern

Richard "Dick" A. Kern, 85, of Streamwood formerly of Chicago, husband of the late Dawn, nee Bachman; father of Kevin (Leslie) and the late Richard P. ; grandfather of Jacob and Sarah Kern and Jason (Nicole) Bishop; Great grandfather of Olivia, Henry and Nora; preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters. Dick retired from Bell and Howell. During the summer he kept busy by working in his garden growing tomatoes. Memorial visitation Saturday, March 4th, 10:00 am until time of memorial service 12:00 pm / noon at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood / Schaumburg. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory prior to services. In lieu of flowers donations to Disabled American Veterans 2122 W Taylor St # 104, Chicago, IL 60612 would be appreciated.
