Richard Kennedy

Richard "Rick" M. Kennedy, 76, of Bartlett; dad of Mike (Kristin Hauser) Kennedy and Jim (Hillary) Kennedy; grandpa of Sienna, Madelyn, Noah and Colin, brother of the late Pat and son of the late Earl and Ruby; also survived by Mike and Jim's mom, Barb Kennedy. Rick was an independent, honest, tough, no nonsense kind of man. He enjoyed long motorcycle rides out West with his son Mike. He loved being outdoors, whether it be hunting or getting away on his motorcycle. In his younger years he was a bull and bronco rider in rodeos. He always had to be doing something - keeping himself busy. His grandchildren always had a way of bringing the softer, silly side out of their grandpa. Nothing brought him more pride than being a grandpa. A celebration of Rick's life will be held Saturday, June 22nd, from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.} Bartlett. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
