Richard Hall

Richard “Dick” T. Hall Sr., 73, of Elgin, formerly of Rolling Meadows, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Born July 11, 1938 in Chicago. He was the son of Patrick and Josephine (nee Sullivan). Dick enjoyed many things including music of the 50’s and 60’s, working with wood and fishing but his true passion was being with his family. Survivors include wife Sandy (nee Holdun), children Nancy (Jerry) Hill, Richard Jr, Brett, Tammy and Billy (Kim) Hall; grandchildren Stacey, Kimberly, Cassandra, Richard III, John, Matthew, Lisa, Tyler, Alison and Ashley; great-grandchildren Caitlin and Colin; sisters Beverly, Sandy, Carol, Marlene, Betty, Wendy and Margie; and brother Clifford and Mart. He was preceded in death by his first wife Alice and his parents. Visitation Sunday, June 10, 2012 from 3:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 95 S Gilbert St (at Middle St), South Elgin. Funeral Monday 11:00a.m. at the funeral home. Following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
