Richard M. Fau; husband of the late Karen; devoted father of Richard P. (Lilly) and Dennis (Katie); loving grandfather of Jessica, Ryan, Dennis Jr., Allison, Anthony and Colton; amazing brother of Karen (Greg) Morales, Sharon (Jim) Wojcik, Mary (Ron) Huffmon, Cheryl (Scott) Thorsen, Carol (George) Goodhue, Danny F. Fau, Sandy (Tom) Burnitz, Diane (Mike) Kviz, Kathleen Fau, Patricia (Dave) Olson, Pamela (Ed) Guglielmi and the late Patrick Fau. Beloved uncle of 22 and great uncle of 18.

He was a Vietnam Veteran and a member of the Canaryville Veterans Association, a 1965 graduate of De La Salle High School and a member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors Local No. 2 and National Association of Elevator Safety Authorities.

Visitation Friday, October 18th, 3:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Visitation continuing Saturday, October 19th 9:30 a.m. until the time of mass 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 2515 W. Palatine Rd., Inverness, IL. Burial Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
