Restituta "Tuty" "Resty" Rivera Aldana, nee Rivera, 87, formerly of Santulan Malabon Philippines; wife of the late Reynaldo (who passed away also in July of 2007), mother of Luz (late Mario) Uy, Henry (Violy), Marie (Manny) Seludo and the late Joe "Pepe" (Mercy); grandmother of Jay (Alice), John Phillip, Jorge (Tiffany), Theresa, Marlene, Rebecca (Kevin), Catherine (Mike), Christopher, Maynard "Bing" (Lourdes), Marylou (Josh) and Matthew (fiance Kaylynn); great grandmother of Jhayda, Jhax, Jhasmine, Jhanice, Jhak, Tory, Titus, Jocelyn, Madison and Clayton; sister of Dr. Robert (Nilda), Joseph (Evelyn), Medy (late Jun) Oliveros, Aurora "Tita" (Roger) Oliveros, late Fernando (Lina) and the late Milagros (late Ralph) Abello; daughter of the late Pedro Bautista Rivera and the late Marie Louise, nee Becker. Restituta was a hard working, loving, wonderful mother who enjoyed cooking for family gatherings and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her spare time she was an avid reader, liked to shop for a good deal and travel. Her strong faith was a part of her daily life. Visitation Sunday, July 22nd, 2:30 pm - 8:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Monday, beginning with prayers at 9:00 am and proceeding to St. Walter Catholic Church, mass 10:00 am. Following mass cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. (630) 289-7575.
