Regina Lynn Stoddard, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on Thursday, August 13th, 2026, in Elk Grove Village, IL. Born on Saturday, March 31st, 1956, in Elmhurst, IL, Regina touched countless lives with her warmth, creativity, and unwavering love for the natural world.
Regina had a remarkable talent for crafting, spending countless hours in the gentle rhythm of cross-stitching, crocheting, and sewing. Her home was filled with her beautiful creations, each piece a testament to her patience and artistic spirit.
A lover of the great outdoors, Regina found joy in the simple beauty of flowers and all creatures great and small. Inspirational quotes also dotted her life, fueling her positive outlook and determination to leave the world a little brighter. Above all, Regina cherished the time she spent with her daughters, Amy (Antonio Taul) Stoddard and Emma (John Andreotti) Stoddard. Her family was her greatest joy, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments and happiness.
Regina was preceded in death by her parents, Robert “Bob” Kolls and Betty Jo (nee Allen) Kolls, as well as her brother Curt Kolls and brother-in-law Dale Burzynski. She is survived by her loving daughters, her cherished sister, Holly Burzynski, brother Jeff (Pat) Kolls, and dear sister-in-law, Laura Koll. Her family and friends will hold onto their fond memories of her love, laughter, and gentle wisdom.
A Memorial Visitation to celebrate Regina's life will be held at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory of Roselle, located in Roselle, Illinois, on Saturday, August 29th, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
