Regina Hill

Regina M. Hill (Jean), passed away on September 1, 2023 in Bartlett, Illinois, at the age of 91. She was born on October 7, 1931, in Chicago, Illinois to John and Marion Dix. Regina was a caring nurse, a loving wife of almost 60 years to Donald, the love of her life, who preceded her in death in 2012. She dedicated her life to helping others and making a positive impact in her community. She earned her RN from St. Francis school of Nursing, and her career spanned many roles and decades.

Family was of utmost importance to Regina, and she leaves behind a cherished legacy. She is survived by her nine children: James (Fran) Hill, Therese (John) Smith, David (Linda) Hill, Jeffrey (Linda) Aubert, RuthAnn (Dave) Groh, Susan (Tracy) Price, Mary Jane (Sara Fredrickson) Hill, Patricia (Bill) Swanson, and Beth (Rich) Tengowski. Additionally, she leaves behind 27 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Regina’s faith was an integral part of her life, and she worshiped at St. Marcelline Catholic Church in Schaumburg, Illinois. Regina will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her compassion, dedication, and unwavering love for her family will forever be remembered and cherished. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to AAMDS.org

Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Regina’s remarkable life at Countryside Funeral Home, 950 S. Bartlett Road, Bartlett, Illinois on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 4-7pm. Funeral Mass Friday (please meet at church), September 8, 2023,  10:30am,  at St. Peter Damian Catholic Church, 131 South Crest Ave. Bartlett, Illinois. Interment St. Michael the Archangel.
