Rebecca Therese Thies, nee Sattler, 40, wife of Eric; mom of Kylynn Aria; sister of Ken (Kelly) of DeWitt, Mi.; Julia (Kelly) Aita of Kenosha, Wi., Amy (David) Watson of Spring Hilll, Tn., Jeff (Cristina) of Burnsville, Mn. and honorary brother Aaron (Emily) Hays of Downers Grove, Il.; daughter of Dave and Terry Sattler, nee Grainey of Bartlett, Il.; granddaughter of Vincent and Ruth Sattler of Toledo, Oh., the late Angela A. Grainey and the late Henry and the late Mary Thies; daughter in law of Timothy (JoAnn) Thies; also many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and countless friends. Rebecca was truly an amazing person. Her infectious smile, positive attitude, love of life and desire to make this world a better place is what gravitated everyone to her. Her strong will, faith and prayers from caring people around the world are what kept her fighting throughout her illness.
