Rebecca “Becky” Marie Lopez (nee Eaton), 36, of South Elgin died April 23, 2014. Becky was the beloved wife of Ken Lopez for 3 years; loving mother of Drew Preston Lopez; cherished daughter of Monty and Sue Eaton (nee Grussenmeyer); proud sister of Amy (Joey) Seymour and Jamie (Nicola McGoff) Eaton; loving granddaughter of Charles and the late Kathleen Eaton, the late Art and the late Millie Grussenmeyer. Becky will be missed by her many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Becky enjoyed coaching and playing volleyball. She had worked for Schaumburg School District 54 for many years.
Visitation for Becky Friday, April 25 3:00p.m. – 9:00p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S. Gilbert Street (at Middle Road) South Elgin. Funeral Saturday 1:15p.m. to St. Patrick Church Mass 2:00p.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Geneva, IL. In lieu of flowers donations to the family for an educational fund for Drew would be appreciated.
