Raymond Waszak

Raymond S. Waszak, 84 of Schaumburg, died Saturday, March 21, 2020. Born December 8, 1935 in Chicago. Raymond was a veteran having served in the Army Air Corp. He loved baseball and was an avid White Sox Fan. Raymond also enjoyed trains, dogs and good food. His sense of humor will be long remembered by the family he adored so much. Beloved husband of 62 years and lifelong friend of Joan (nee Nurkiewicz); loving dad of Ray J, and Robin (Don) Deak; cherished grandpa of Caitlyn, Zakary, Jake and Casey; dear great-grandpa of Bella and kind son of the late Stephen and Laura (nee Niemasczyk) Waszak. Burial for Raymond will take place privately at St Adalbert Catholic Cemetery in Niles. A memorial service in his honor is being planned at a later date.
